Quick boarding and disembarkation. Efficient drinks and snack service. Very comfortable seating. Clear announcements. The only downside was that the carriages need more space for heavy luggage.

VIA Rail

Judith T.

The ride was beautiful. Way more room than the bus. They let me check lots of luggage. The staff were incredible

VIA Rail

Deirdre A.

Very friendly staff, who made sure all passengers were warned 10 min before their stop.Comfortable.. and excellent facilities.Fabulous countryside.(Avoid the tea.. my cup would compete for the worse cuppa of my life.. I was supplied with a luke warm mug of water and a separate teabag.)

VIA Rail

David G.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Missed not being allowed to eat in the dining car. Food from the canteen car was not enjoyable. Will have to pack my own, always enjoyed the dining car on past trips. The button to push for drinking water was almost impossible with my arthritic hands. Another passenger had to push it for me.

The train had to stop before I reached montreal and made us all get off, stranding us.

VIA Rail

Eravati S.

Comfortable seats, but the train was running 45 minutes late. Very poor view from my seat as I could only see out from 1/10 of the window I was next to.

VIA Rail

Kevin G.

I booked a train to Cornwall from Toronto and was given a ticket to Kingston from Toronto with changing in Kingdom with an hour delay waiting for the train to Cornwall And there is no need for that.

VIA Rail

Chyanne F.

The ride was ok,I was a bit scared when the train switches tracks and I heard noises.Cabin was cool and clean.

VIA Rail

Albert O.

Enjoyed the benefits of business class - private waiting area, complimentary beverages - as well as the great food and beverage service in the rail car.Did not enjoy the 30-minute delay for the 2:57 pm train from Quebec City to Montreal.

VIA Rail

Jonathan S.

Just disgusting that it ran almost 90 minutes late and no aircon in carriage 4. Then been ask to move to carriage 3 because it was cooler

VIA Rail

Kevin G.

Decent train, lucky that the cart was mostly empty. But we were 15 min late enroute and then 30 min standing waiting for the platform in Toronto. Got late for everything and such a waste.

VIA Rail

Yuriy D.

Getting into the train was easy and clear, was comfortable and clean, quick and easy to get to my destination.

VIA Rail

Fabiola Itaye B.

This was my first time traveling with via rail and had a worst experience. The train was stuck just mins before the kitchener station for 4 hours and they were serving expired pretzels.

VIA Rail

Sarah B.

Have to buy ticket and show up well ahead of time for a VIArail 1.5 hour travel OTT-DORVAL. Not ´buy a ticket, hop on, for intercity travel’ but rather compares to international travel saga.

VIA Rail

Brigitte L.

Great way to travel. Seats were comfortable and gave a lot more space that plane seats. It was a little cold on the train though.

VIA Rail

Charles C.

I had trip from Montreal to Toronto today I couldn’t use my coupon for discount I was on the phone for almost 30 minutes lady tried to help me even she couldn’t help me to get my discount

I enjoyed the trip but I was glad I had a shawl as the train a/c created a cold environment

VIA Rail

Lynda F.

It was great. Booked in the morning, everything was orangized. Got there on time, no issues finding seat. The express train to Ottawa is great. Good space for seats, good selection for snacks.

VIA Rail

Stephanie K.

overall the ride was good but theres somethings that i just dislike. First, the seats on the train were backwards and made me a bit dizzy. 2nd: the train did have wifi but it was extremely slow so i couldnt play golf on my phone. and lastly, the food, yea its a train but cant they serve the sandwiches a little bit hotter and not cold. But overall it was a smooth train ride

VIA Rail

Kristina R.

I have no complaints the service was wonderful and stewards were helpful and pleasant. They also kept us up to date with any delays

VIA Rail

Cheryl F.

We have taken 3 rail trips and 2 of them were significantly delayed. Service was good.

VIA Rail

Ursula R.

The staff was really good. But unfortunately, we didn't get to our destination due to an issue with a bridge.

VIA Rail

Olivier C.

The economy ticket that Hi Road on three days on the train the food was the biggest downfall when it’s 6 o’clock no hamburgers for supper sandwiches only so basically the food was the main issue three days maybe add a little more more quantity and quality to the menu

VIA Rail

Clarence K.

First time on a train. Booked 2 seats but weren't side by side. Was a little strange.

VIA Rail

Dustin D.

The General & Very-"Helpful & Atmospheric"Environment of the Employees, the train & Cleanliness was the most enjoyable!!

VIA Rail

Carl Jonathon L.

I really would of liked a window seat. There were some available but I wasn't given the choice

VIA Rail

Diane R.

We like everything on the train except the smell of the washroom. Via rail can add the automatic freshener into it. That would be wonderful!

VIA Rail

Linh D.

Was a nice smooth trip but the lights were not dimmed down which made it hard to sleep. Also one food provider working in a small kitchenette resulted in very long ques.

VIA Rail

Clare M.

First time rider and it was great. I wish VIA had more service canada wide and more frequency because I'd love to use via more!

VIA Rail

Brenden L.

I didn't enjoy my trip, when we took off to Oshawa from Ottawa after 30min we were kept for 2hrs somewhere, that made me miss my appointment.
